The yearbook’s theme this year is “Emerge”

Every year the yearbook staff works tirelessly to put together a book that encompasses all the school’s activities and notable events. This year as many may know they have added Aurasma, which allows students to use a trigger image to bring the yearbook to life through videos taken since the beginning of the year.

“If someone were to ask me what the best part of yearbook was, there probably wouldn’t be one single answer. It could be the planning, the organizing, the quick problem-solving, the designing,” Editor-in-Chief Madison Michel said, “Perhaps it would be the many late nights, snacks, and solo-dance parties to stay awake while dredging through print-out after print-out, proof after proof, combing through each with hawk-like eyes and a felt-tip pen.”

Editors-in- Chief Maggie Brick, Madison Michel and Callum Yockey have worked hard all year to organize their staffers and create the yearbook you will receive Friday, May 26. As is customary seniors will be called down first at 8:20 a.m. and then based on the time it takes to distributed juniors, sophomores and then finally freshmen will get the books.

“I think yearbook has provided me with a good experience of how to work with others and take a leadership role. Even though we had our struggles and setbacks, I am very proud of our final product,” Brick said.
