To See or Not to See?

FINDING DORYAs school finally ends and summer begins, many look forward to being on the boat and just hanging out. But what about at night? Well don’t worry, because June brings many movies to see when that bright sun goes down.

Starting out our summer, on June 3, many movies premiere such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Me Before You and The Fits.

As the sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows follows the story of the heroes and their friends on an adventure to save their precious city.  This film is rated PG-13.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is about a washed out celebrity that does everything in his power to keep his fame. This film is rated R.  

Starring Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin, Me Before You is about a girl who falls in love with the person she is taking care of. This dramatic film is rated PG-13.

The Fits is about a girl who trains at a gym to join a dance group, but then she becomes sick and must keep up with the group. This film is not yet rated.

On June 10, two sequels come out such as The Conjuring 2 and Now You See Me 2. On the other hand Warcraft also premieres.

Following The Conjuring, the sequel The Conjuring 2 is about Ed and Lorraine Warren who travel to a helpless mother who is plagued by a dark supernatural force. This horror film is rated R.

Starring many notable actors and actresses such as Morgan Freeman, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo and Daniel Radcliffe, Now You See Me 2 brings the four horseman back in order to pull a seemingly impossible heist. This action film is rated PG-13.

Warcraft follows two different heroes. One is escaping their dying home and the other hero is trying to stop them from invading. This film is rated PG-13.

June 17 brings movies such as Finding Dory, Central Intelligence and Swiss Army Man.

Since Finding Nemo (2003), after 13 long years Finding Dory is premiering. This film follows the story of Dory and her adventure with all the discoveries she makes. This film is rated PG.

Starring Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, Central Intelligence is about two friends who reunite via Facebook and they both learn that they weren’t the same as they were before. This film is rated PG-13.

Swiss Army Man, which stars Daniel Radcliffe, follows the journey of a stranded man who befriends an unlikely person. This film is rated R.

To close out June, movies such as Independence Day: Resurgence, The Shallows, Free State of Jones, Eat That Question: Frank Zappa in His Own Words and Wiener-Dog.

20 years after the first invasion, a second alien invasion occurs and people must protect the world again. Independence Day: Resurgence starring Maika Monroe, Joey King and Liam Hemsworth is not yet rated.

Starring Blake Lively, a surfer becomes stranded after a shark attack. The Shallows is not yet rated.

Set during the civil war, a rebel army fights against the confederate army. Free State of Jones, starring Matthew McConaughey, this film is not yet rated.

Eat That Question: Frank Zappa in His Own Words is a documentary about the famous musician Frank Zappa. This film is not yet rated.

Wiener-Dig follows a dog as it travels around the country finding new owners. This comedy is rated R.
