To See or Not to See: That is the Question

The Space Between Us premieres on Feb. 3.

2016 was a year full of spectacular movies, however, 2017 is bound to bring even greater ones. As February approaches, so did many movies that should not be missed. Here are a few awesome movies premiering during February.

On Feb. 3, Rings and The Space Between Us both premiere. Rings follows the story of a woman who receives a curse and has seven days left; this horror film is rated PG-13. The Space Between Us follows the first human born on mars and his journey back to earth. Along the way, he encounters a ‘street-smart’ girl who helps him discover this new world. This adventure is rated PG-13.

A week later, on Feb. 10, three films premiere which include Fifty Shades Darker, John Wick: Chapter 2 and The Lego Batman Movie.

Fifty Shades Darker is the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey. Anastasia must fight Christian’s past in order to save their relationship. This drama is rated R.

Another film premiering the same day is John Wick: Chapter 2 which is the sequel to John Wick. This film follows the journey of the former hitman named John Wick. This action film is not yet rated.

The Lego Batman Movie is the other movie to premiere on Feb. 10. Following Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, working to keep Gotham safe, but also learning how to raise his adopted son. This animated film is rated PG.

Meanwhile, on Feb. 17, many other films premiere as well such as The Great Wall, Fist Fight, Patient Zero and A Cure for Wellness.

Following the construction of the Great Wall of China, The Great Wall  follows the mysteries behind its construction. This historical action film is rated PG-13.

No one would ever expect that two teachers would get into a fight, however in Fist Fight, it is all too real as one teacher challenges another after he gets him fired. This comedy is rated R.

Patient Zero follows the story of a man who becomes immune to a super virus that has changed all of mankind. He and the other lone survivors must work together to come up with a cure before it is too late. This action drama film is not yet rated.

As the CEO of a company is sent to a wellness center, an executive is sent out to retrieve him, however this care center may not be what it seems. A Cure for Wellness is rated R.

Wrapping up the month of February, on Feb. 24, films such as Get Out, Rock Dog and Collide premiere.

Get Out follows the story of a young man whose girlfriend invites him to visit her parents at their family estate. However when he arrives, he finds that something is not right with the house and her family. This horror film is not yet rated.

A tibetan mastiff decides to pack up and leave after a radio falls on him from the sky, making him discover that his destiny is to become a musician. Rock Dog is a family friendly animation that is rated PG.

Collide follows the plot of an American backpacker who gets caught up with drug smugglers as their personal driver. However, things start to go wrong and he finds himself running from them. This action thriller is rated PG-13.
