A beautiful museum to see during the cold winter months.

A winter activity that incorporates creativity, and mental stimulation for little to no cost is The Walker Art Center.  With many exhibitions on display, there is bound to be something for everyone to enjoy.

“Question the Wall Itself” is a display that examines how different interior designs can define a culture.  A group of multigenerational artists have created 23 unique pieces that push architectural and political boundaries through a multimedia platform.

“Chris Larson: Land Speed Record” is a show by Minnesota-based artist Chris Larson who illustrates architectures of the past by means of photography, videography, painting, and drawing.

“Katharina Fritsch: Multiples” features arguably one of the greatest sculptors of our time, Katharina Fritsch, from Germany.  Fritsch uses everyday objects to sculpt creations resembling classic German fairy tales as well as elements of the natural world.

With exhibits like these, as well as over a dozen more, The Walker Art Center is a defining landmark in Minneapolis that draws thousands of people to their unique exhibits that have something to offer to everyone.
